Well done to all the Opcare and AMG employees who took part in the ‘Walk around Opcare’ fundraising challenge for LimbPower.
Opcare has been a supporter of LimbPower for many years. LimbPower support amputees and individuals with limb differences helping them and their families to bridge the gap between hospital rehabilitation and community and school engagement. This helps them to rebuild their lives and improve their physical, social and mental well-being.
Covid-19 has had a significant impact on LimbPower’s fundraising capabilities due to events being cancelled and we wanted to support them in raising money.
Therefore, it is a pleasure to announce that Opcare and AMG employees amassed a whopping 11.9 Million steps in a week. An incredible achievement, beating the target by nearly 2 million!
£4200 was donated and we will be bringing the final amount to an incredible £10000. Every penny will go towards services that aid lifelong rehabilitation and will enable LimbPower to develop new services that engage even more amputees and individuals with limb impairments.
