The Exeter Paediatric fitting room has been transformed with a fun, vibrant animal-themed design, creating an inviting atmosphere that will help to provide a positive experience for young patients.

Putting art on the walls of hospitals has been proven to improve the well-being of patients and staff members. Clinical Lead Prosthetist, Catherine Finlayson agrees, “The response has been incredibly positive from both the staff and the patients. We have used it for a number of paediatric patients who all enjoy spotting the different types of prostheses on the animals! One of our patients fed back to us saying: “what a great room it is for children, with each of the murals having a prosthetic of some kind, what a great idea”

Most importantly, the artwork has brightened up the space while still meeting the special needs of the children, with the Leicester facility next.
