Part Time Receptionist – Leicester

Hours: 20 part time (Monday 8hrs, Tuesday 8hrs and Friday 4 hrs)

Working at Leicester

You will join a large centre that provides the Prosthetics, Orthotics and Wheelchair services for Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. The centre is located close to the M69 & M1 motorways with ample free on-site parking.  In addition to the responsibilities outlined below, we also offer the opportunity to get involved with a number of community engagement opportunities; providing support to various local organisations and institutions. We have a busy staff social programme, organised by our social committee with a calendar of events to get involved with, planned throughout the year.

We are currently seeking an experienced Receptionist who is looking for an opportunity to be develop their career and be a part of our large and dynamic team in Leicester.

The successful applicant will  support the end to end service delivery requirements for our patients including speedy and accurate response to referral and appointment management, order processing, support of clinicians within the service, reception and administration duties, ensuring accuracy of information and maintenance of department systems and processes.

Responsibilities:

Some of the key responsibilities the role holder will have responsibility for:

  • Greeting and booking patients in for Appointments
  • Liaising with the clinicians, administration staff, 3rd parties and other company staff
  • Monitoring patients ambulance transport and dealing with queries
  • Supplying patients items for collection from the centre
  • Maintaining and updating patient information accurately.
  • Rescheduling, amending and correcting appointments on Opcare electronic systems, directing patients and assisting with follow up appointments.

The role will be instrumental in helping to develop and implement service improvements for the betterment of patients in Location.

The successful candidate will join an enthusiastic and busy team, and be supported with local, regional, and national training to develop their clinical skills to support the service. We aim to deliver a first class service for users whilst applying the most advanced and exciting clinical and technical solutions available to patients.
