Job role summary
We are seeking a skilled Orthotic Technician to join our dynamic team here in Leeds. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing orthotic devices and a passion for helping individuals regain mobility and independence.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manufacture custom orthotic devices based on clinician prescriptions and patient assessments.
· Modify and repair existing orthotic devices as needed.
· Adhere to safety and quality standards in all manufacturing processes.
· Stay updated on advancements in orthotic technology and techniques.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an orthotic technician or in a related field is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in the use of fabrication tools and techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
