Job Summary:

We are currently seeking an experienced administrator who is looking for an opportunity to be develop their career and be a part of our large and dynamic team at the National Rehabilitation Hospital.

The Administration role would be supporting the provision of Orthotic and Prosthetic services to patients. To support the end to end service delivery requirements for our patients including speedy and accurate response to referral and appointment management, support of clinicians within the service, reception and administration duties, ensuring accuracy of information and maintenance of department systems and processes. Working along-side our colleagues in the NRH to deliver a high-quality patient centred service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling patient appointments
  • Updating patient information
  • Taking patient enquiries
  • Managing the appointment diary
  • Communicating with strategic partners clinical team

The role will be instrumental in helping to develop and implement service improvements for the betterment of patients. As part of the role it will be required to develop strong working relationships with Orthotists, Prosthetists, administration staff, production, customer services, clinical and management teams within the business as well as with our partners in the NRH.

The successful candidate will join an enthusiastic and busy team, and be supported with local, regional, and national training to develop their skills to support the service. We aim to deliver a first class service for users whilst applying the most advanced and exciting clinical and technical solutions available to patients.

Essential experience required:

  • Administration experience (preferably in healthcare)
  • Reception experience
