About the Role
Are you a highly organised professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment? We are seeking an Office Manager to join our team and play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of our Head Office in Abingdon.
This is an exciting new position created to provide vital support to our Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and Senior Managers across the Group. Your role will be critical in enabling the SLT to focus on strategic priorities by managing key administrative and operational tasks effectively.
What You’ll Do:
As Office Manager, you’ll act as the backbone of our Head Office, with responsibilities that include:
- SLT Support:
- Provide direct administrative support to the SLT, including managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and arranging travel.
- Organise meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and track follow-up actions.
- Handle sensitive and confidential tasks with utmost discretion.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence on behalf of the SLT.
- Office Operations:
- Oversee the daily operations of Head Office, ensuring a professional and functional environment.
- Serve as the first point of contact for office-related queries and welcome visitors.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and security protocols.
- Collaboration & Projects:
- Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to support cross-departmental initiatives.
- Assist in the planning and execution of special projects and events.
- Adapt to evolving needs by taking on additional responsibilities as required.
About You
You’ll bring a proactive approach, strong organisational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively. Your focus will be on supporting senior leadership and ensuring operations run seamlessly.
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience in office management or as a personal assistant.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Exceptional organisational and multitasking skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- High levels of accuracy, confidentiality, and discretion.
