We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team at The National Rehabilitation Hospital in Duin Laoghaire, Dublin.
The successful candidate will be joining a dedicated team of administrators and health professionals that deliver prosthetic and orthotic services to the patients of the NRH.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the positive first point of contact for Opcare, greeting and welcoming all patients and visitors in a helpful and friendly manner.
- Book in patients promptly and schedule further appointments as needed.
- Make, change, and monitor appointments in line with priority and KPIs; escalate capacity or breach risks to the appropriate Team Leader / Manager.
- Receive and make telephone calls to patients and healthcare professionals.
- Work collaboratively with the wider team to communicate changes and resolveproblems.
Skills and Experience:
Essential:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including a professional telephone manner and effective people skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Processing and data entry using IT systems.
- Positive, proactive, and helpful attitude at all times.
- Comfortable handling confidential information and adhering to data security protocols.
Desirable:
- Experience working in an administration role in a healthcare environment.
